Awards


DEUQUA Honorary-Medal

The Albrecht-Penck-Medal is awarded for outstanding scientific merits and achievements, in the field of Quaternary science.

 

Honorary membership

Awarded to individuals who have significantly supported and promoted Quaternary research or DEUQUA.

 

DEUQUA-Prize for young academics

Awarded to individuals who have written outstanding theses in the field of Quaternary science. 

 

Activities


Publications

The membership fee includes print copies of E&G Quaternary Science Journal as well as Geowissenschaftliche Mitteilungen (GMIT).

 

Conferences

DEUQUA Conferences take place every two years.

 

Library

The DEUQUA collection of books and journals is located in Halle and can be accessed via the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Books and journal issues can be loaned upon registration on site or ordered as photocopies via Gemeinsame Bibliotheksverbund GBV or Subito. Note that it not possible to perform a literature search of the DEUQUA library itself as it is part of the larger library in Halle.
